So here we are. My brother has just navigated my way through the turmoil of the world wide web and safely anchored my in this friendly harbor. OK. No more bad poetry for now. Da Peeg is moving soon, and we are establishing this so we can keep in touch. Hopefully I will keep up with it better than I do many other things. Ah, yes, the dog just barked suddenly for no apparent reason and scared the hell out of my brother and me. Wonderful.

So, here we are. I'm assuming if you are reading this, you know me in some capacity and have a mild interest in the day to day happenings of my life. Either that or you have unhealthy voyouristic tendencies and should seek help. Now.

So anyways, I cut down a tree yesterday. Well, really Ken Ruinard did most of the work. He is toatlly amazing. He did it with a hand saw while I stood there feeling worthless. The tree was blocking a portion of my garden. I felt a bit guilty thismorning when I saw the pile of brush with wilting leaves, but the tree had to come down so my tomatoes could live. Mmmm. I like the fresh tomatoes.

Meghan went to Atlanta today to celebrate mothers day with her mom and also celebrate her mother's birthday. I was going to go, but stayed behind to hang out with my brother, who will be moving to our nations illustrious capital next week. Yes, the Washington as in D.C. I'm a bit sad about it all but happy he will finally get to live in a big city like he's always wanted.

Oh, just so you know, I can't spell. If you are planning to read this on a regular basis, I hope you can deal with that fact and not be upset or offended by the occasional misspelled word. My wife is an English teacher and I'm a journalist, but I still can't spell.

Da Peeg says the dog looks like the R&B singer Brandi, I must go investigate.
