Wow. So once again I am the slacker in the Chandler Blogging community. Why, you ask? Is it lack of time? Yes. But also -- fear. I was just reading about a guy who got fired for something silly posted on his web log. Crazy! So I feel I must watch my p's and q's. You never know if Big Brother is watching. Reading. Getting angry. Geoff and Stacy's reception was fun, as was Jon Solomon's wedding the week before. It was great to get to see people I'd not seen in a while -- like former co-workers Casey and Will, who attended both events. It was also great to have the whole family together, a rare enent these days. It was kind of like our Thanksgiving, I guess since chances are we won't all be in the same place at the same time, especially with two siblings working in the media (who has to put out a product despite the holiday) and Peeg and Stacy having just taken a ton of time off to frolic in New Zeland and get married and stuff. Speaking of New Zeland... My beautiful wife, who is awesome in all respects, brought home a surprise yesterday. Yes, yes, boys and girls. It was the Special Edition extedned super cool version of The Two Towers! ROCK. ON. Its great and stuff, just like you'd expect. The only problem is I want to watch the whole thing, not just the movie but the hours and hours of extra stuff, and I don't have the time. I'm afraid I won't get anything done because I'll either be watching the DVD's over and over or simply wishing I was watching the DVD's over and over. Oh well. Liz has an intersting post about Rick Bragg. Man. I can't believe you didn't talk to him, Liz. Well, OK, I do, because I get stupid around celebrities too. My problem isn't just reminding them of their name, though. No, I'm so concerned with looking unconcerned with meeting them (like, yeah, I see famous people all the time, man, you're not special) that I come off like a complete dork too.
