Hey everybody! Does anyone read this site anymore? Wouldn't blame you if you didn't, since the posts are few and very far between.

Speaking of between, I'm between summer sessions right now, so I thought I would post and update everyone as to what is going on. The first summer session was busy, but good. I took two classes - educational psychology and early adolescent development. I passed both (hooray!), although there were times I was worried about that happening. Summer graduate level classes = supa hard, yo. The classes really weren't that bad, the material was understandable and teachers great, it's just really compact so everything is due right away and its really easy to get behind in your reading.

Summer session 2 starts Wednesday and I really won't have time when that starts. I just took two classes in summer one - summer two I'm taking three classes. I'll be in class from 10 a.m. to about 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The session is only two and a half weeks. I'm a little worried to be honest. I'll be taking a geography class, a history class and a literature class. Can you say lots of reading and writing? I hope I can make it through. Canker sores already abound in my mouth from the stress ofr last semester. To give an idea for those of you who live or have lived in S.C. -- remember Dr. Walter Edgars "South Carolina, A History"? Yeah, that's the text book for the history class. Remember how thick it is? Remember how I said classes last just 2 1/2 weeks. Eeeek. Then there's the literature class. All kinds of stuff I'm looking forward to reading is assigned, but again time is going to be an issue.

I've also been running a paper route. Up at 1:30 a.m. every day. Every. Day. Deliver about 450 papers, more or less depending on which day it is. Lets just say I've had more fun doing other things. I'm looking forward to the day I don't have to do it anymore. It's been raining almost every day lately and the paper has been coming out late (no, we don't need a new press, never mind that it breaks all the time and they can't find parts for it any more). So, it's been a blast. I also put a big dent in the fender of the Celica hitting a mailbox. Didn't do a thing to the mailbox. Then there is calling people pestering them to give you money they owe. Yeah, that's fun too.

There are some interesting things about it. Driving around that early in the morning, you see lots of wild life. Lots of deer (many of whom like to run right in front of your car) lots of foxes (yup, foxes!) and lots and lots and lots of rabbits. The rabbits are everywhere. Now, I must preface this next bit by asking, you know how people say pets look like their owners? Well, I think pets rub off on their owners as well. I say this because of, well, the rabbits. You see these rabbits stop for a second when they see your headlights. Then they run. Fast. And, I don't know why, but I blame my dog, I want to chase them. Really really want to chase them. I can't say how many times I've nearly stopped the car and run through the well manincured lawns of Cobbs Glen (a golfing community I deliver to) chasing rabbits. Even thinking of it now I want to chase the rabbits. Man, it's weird. Of course, I could also blame this on lack of sleep. I wondered if I could get by on little sleep, and so far, I am. I barely remember what a full night's sleep is like. I sleep 2-3 hrs before the route then I nap as I can when I get back and through the day. Joe said this is the sleeping pattern of virtually every modern president. It is odd b/c days never really seem to start or end. I look forward to July when Meghan and I will go with her family to the beach for a week and I'll sleep the night through. Ahhh.

And finally, speaking of Meghan, we went to the doctor the other day, and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was really neat. July 13 we will go to the doc again and have the sonogram where we'll find out if the baby is a boy or a girl.

Well, if you have taken thte time to read this long post, I salute you. I can't say that It'll be soon when I post again. Once summer two starts, I'll be busier than ever, so...I'll try if I can though. Keep checking! Maybe my sub will post! Some days I wonder why in the world I quit a perfectly good job to do this. I love my classes though and am looking forward to getting into the schools (start at Lakeside Middle School on Aug. 2).

See.

You.
